WebNov 14, 2024 · Discussion Starter · #1 · Oct 25, 2024. I have a Holley 650 with vacuum secondaries that I am working on getting jetted properly with an AFR gauge. I am pretty close but I am surprised at what it took to get there. I had to go 5 or 6 sizes leaner on the primary, down to 62 form 68 I think, and about the same richer on the secondaries. http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=15326.0
WebAug 20, 2014 · the #68 jet in a 500 cfm holley 2300 IS the correct jet size for a 304/345 IH engine. i r have run a couple of them with those jets and no other changes with excellent results, is it technically over size for the engine due to lack of rpm range but it does run very well. hth mac . jollykreiger Farmall Cub. Google: "holley idle fuel channel restrictor" for the how-to on inserting wire (from .010 to .013 depending on your vacuum signal) into the two channels to lean out the idle circuit.
